What the hell happened to October? I could have sworn it was there a moment ago and yet here we are in November with me wondering how I am going to get everything done by Christmas.
Can I just sleep now and eat all the cake?
Gardening
Super big win all round despite the up and down weather we've been having. First there was snow. In spring. And then it was wet then hot, then hot and wet and then windy, then windy and wet and finally windy and hot. Like seriously the weather has just been crazy. My poor plants have no idea what to do but luckily they do at least appear to be growing so that's something.
Catching a break in the weather even if it was just a day has meant that I have at least been able to plant 3 fruit trees, a bunch of corn seedlings, a rhubarb plant ad some cucumber and pumpkin plants. Madly crossing fingers that this up and down weather doesn't end up killing the lot of them. Especially since I've got more to plant such as carrots, radishes, lettuces...
Reading
Like the gardening this is also going super well. My To Be Read pile is nice and low and seems to be staying there. Which is a major surprise. On the other hand my Christmas reading wish list is perhaps getting just a tad long...
