April Plans: Reading, Watching And Everything Else

As someone who never really plans anything I've decided to start a monthly plan of things I want to achieve and what better way to keep a track of it than on blogger.  Of course I have no idea how well I'll do but I'm hoping that using blogger will help motivate me.

First up... reading.

As a somewhat addicted reader I always have a never-ending To-Be-Read pile, mostly because a) I love to read and b) because I'm constantly looking at websites and blogs.

This month's To-Be-Read pile consists of the following:

 1.    Crush : writers reflect on love, longing and the power of their first celebrity crush
This sounds totally quirky and totally me and the perfect book that you can just read
bits of as and when you feel like it.
 2.    The Girl Who Came Back by Susan Lewis
A will she or won't she thriller
3.     How To Be A Redhead by Adrienne and Stephanie Vendetti
Being a red-head it will come as no surprise that I have been dying to read this
4.     The woman who upped and left by Fiona Gibson
Chick Lit. Perfect for those late night in bed reads.
Why the above four books all have blue or bluish covers I have no idea.  Even weirder they are all YA'sObviously I'm on some kind of theme here.
5.     On The Edge of Gone by Corinne Duvyis
        End of the world YA
6.     A Drop of Night by Stefan Bachmann
        YA thriller
7.     Bookishly Ever After by Isabel Bandeira
        Romance YA
8.     Burning Glass by Kathryn Purdie
YA fantasy about a girl who is an empath.
9.     Take The Fall by Emily Hainsworth
        Another YA thriller
10.   Reign of Shadows by Sophie Jordan
        Fantasy YA
11.   Neanderthal Seeks Human by Penny Reid
Romance/Chick Lit. featuring knittingDefinitely my kind of book.
12.   Korea by Robert Koehler
Hopeful preparation for a possible holiday later this year
Along with my list of things I want to read I also have a list of things I want to watch and listen to because List Girl is my name.  I just love making lists.

13.   Torchwood: The Victorian Age
I adore Big Finish's AudioBooks so this latest Torchwood audio is one I can't wait to try.
14.   Bosch Season 2
The 1st season was brilliant so no surprise I want to watch this latest season
15.   Sparks & Embers
         Romance movie.  I'm so there.
16.   I'll See You In My Dreams
        Another romance movie.

You would think with all that reading and watching etc that I wouldn't want to add anything else to my plans but of course I do.  So under the heading of Everything Else here are things I'd like to work on this month.

17    Lose weight and get fit
More about this in a future post
18.   Write more.
I constantly fail at this.  But I want to do better.  So I'm setting myself 2 goals for this.
Last month I wrote 7 blog posts so this month I'm aiming for a lucky 13.  I also want to
try and write 1000 words this month as a means of getting some of my stories nearer to
        completion.
19.   Do some cross stitch
I use to love doing this but over the last few years I just haven't gotten around to doing
any.  This year I want to get back into it and also finish a project that I started ages ago.

And that's my goals for this month.  What do you think?  Any ideas on how I can be better motivated and organised?  What are your goals and plans for this month?
