🎄Day one and the Christmas music is already playing. So far a good start to my lockdown holiday. If only there was snow🌨 ...
Sadly I live in the Southern part of the world where it's sun and hot weather and the last thing on the horizon is a white Christmas. Oh well at least I can have my dream Christmas courtesy of my December plans.
Reading
My Christmas To-Be-Read pile is huge. Like really, really huge. In fact I may have gotten just a little bit - make that a lot - carried away. Damn those books and all their cute covers.
Gardening
Going so, so, well that I actually don't have to do too much this month other than water and keep the weeds from taking over, which when you have a garden the size of a very large swimming pool is pretty much a daily task.
Still everything that I have planted seems to be doing okay I may even have fresh tomato's all grown by me for Christmas.
Movie Watching
I'm still madly catching up with reviews on my Letterboxd account which like the garden seems to be a constant thing but I'm going to mix it up this month by watching Christmas movies.
A movie a day leading up to the big day and the ultimate of Christmas movies - Die Hard.
After all what better way than to end Christmas with things blowing up.
Writing
Always on the plans no matter what time of year. Even if no 'other' writing gets done I can at least put out some blog posts.
In the meantime I'm dreaming of snow...

This was the perfect way to begin Blogmas. I love a little rundown of everything going on in a person's life.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, my TBR pile has increased too. I don't usually read holiday books but I've found an interesting mix of themes so hopefully they'll put me in the festive mood on the lazy days. :)
