With the summer heat creeping up the way it has been most of this time will probably be spent indoors. Yeah I'm a redhead with whiter than white skin so the hot summer sun is so not my friend.
But that's okay because I've got windows open in every room, homemade ice blocks in the fridge, a comfy seat and a lovely view outside our sliding doors of my garden which is currently blooming in blooms so I'm a happy camper.
Reading
Now that I'm doing a weekly roundup of what I've been reading it seems a bit silly to mention what books I'm planning on reading. Because lets be honest, my reading is haphazard at the best of times and generally I read whatever grabs my attention at that the moment. Either way reading is still going to be on the plans list because I am a book nerd after all.

365 Movies in 365 Days
I'm so behind on this. I dread to think how many movies I need to watch just to catch up. But I'm not going to let it phase me. Instead I am taking a big breath and plowing on ahead... with a little bit more of commitment from me and some serious crossing of fingers going on. I will achieve this goal. Even if I go a bit loopy in the process.

Get Out and About More
Now that we've settled into a home I'd like to try and get out and about more because currently both Other Half and I are at serious risk of becoming completely housebound which is actually kind of nice because we are both doing the things that we love (Me - reading, watching movies, gardening, walking, writing, etc and Him - anything and everything techy and computer related broken up with trips to the gym and playing golf).
Still neither of us want to become completely anti-social so I'm now finding us something to do each month. December was pretty easy as we went to a Christmas Market and drove around looking at the Christmas lights, January it was a book fair which okay that was more me than him but still it was going out so I'm counting it,
This month we're off to the Martinborough County Fair which is the biggest fair in New Zealand.
As for the rest of the year... well suggestions are always welcome.
