Augusts Plans and Julys Outcomes

Well July went by fairly quickly and without too much drama, other than me bumping my head and getting a minor concussion.  Luckily the throbbing in my head has gone away and I'm feeling much better.

Amazingly I managed to do everything on my plan list so I'm very happy with that.  I'm keeping this month's list fairly small as well since it went so well last month.  Small lists are definitely more manageable.

As always my To Be Read Pile is never ending...

Perfect Prey by Helen Fields
I really enjoyed the 1st book in this series so I have high hopes for book no. 2.
Frozen Stiff by Patrick Logan
The 1st in a new to me series.  If I end up liking this it will give me even more books to add to my TBR pile
Shadowed by Karen Olsen
I got totally hooked on the 1st book in this series so I'm really looking forward to reading this one.  Even better there are 2 more books after this.
The Whispering Room by Dean Kootnz
Another series and another book no. 2 in a series.  As you can see I'm doing really well with my murder mystery/thriller series as the moment.
The Wellness Project by Phoebe Lapine
One woman's quest to get healthy and sort out her life in the process.  Sounds just my kind of thing.  Weird and quirky.
Film Noir Guide
No surprise that this is on my list what with all the movie watching I've been doing.  I'm hoping I will find some movies to add to my To Be Watched list.
365 Movies in 365 Days
Still going pretty well.  I'm a little bit behind due to the bump on the head but I hope to do some catching up in the next week or so.  Currently I'm in a 'oldie' movie fest and am working my way through a ton of films that were made way before I was even born.
Write More
My blog writing is going pretty well even if my other writing isn't.  As always it is on the list...
Gardening
I've been madly gardening over the past few months and so far have made some pretty good headway.  I've trimmed all the trees and shrubs which were madly overgrown, cleared out the plastic house ready for some spring planting and am currently working on clearing out a massive pile of stones so I can plant some pretty new shrubs that I have bought. After that there is still a huge list of things to do.

  1. I must remember to request the new Dean Koontz book, I've read the first in the series.
