To be honest I'm not that fond of the heat. We kind of have a hate-hate relationship where I'm a hot sweaty puddle on the floor. Holidaying in Iceland seems very appealing at this time of year.
Getting cool is definitely my main objective this month along with the following...
1. Blood lines by Angela Marsons
You just knew I had to have a thriller and I've been loving the Kim Stone D.I. series so
this latest book was a pretty much a given.
2. The last girl by Joe Hart
I just love reading a good apocalyptic novel so I have high hopes for this one.
I'm always a bit wary about YA fantasy books mostly because so many of them tend
to throw in a love triangle, so I'm cautiously optimistic about this one.
4. We know it was you by Maggie ThrashA YA novel with a touch of mystery.
Travel and free. I am so there.
6. Best of the simple things: taking time to live well
Honestly it's just the cover that appeals to me. I actually have no idea what its about.
I like the sound of this one and am hoping that I get some good ideas.
8. Traditional Nordic Knits
My hunt for something to knit this year continues.
Cats. Do I really need to say anything else other than this book is so totally me.
10. Victoria
One of those shows that I have been meaning to watch for ages. Now seems like the
perfect time to catch up.
11. Madam Secretary
I've been looking for a new slightly trashy show to watch. Cross fingers this is the one.
12. Better Things
I so love the poster for this show that I just have to watch it.
13. Write more
Don't say a word. It will happen. One day
14. Knitting
Still on the hunt. I'm even contemplating knitting some socks.
15. Lose weight and get fit.
I've hit a bit of stumbling block with this at the moment. Blame it on all the stress eating.
The walking though is going well so there is at.
16. Declutter
A slow progress but still progress. Who knew we had so much stuff.
